DPM Wong was by led through the block visit by grassroots leaders and was accompanied by agencies such as the Town Council, Police, LTA, HDB and NEA. Residents were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gesture by DPM Wong who personally gave away tokens of mandarin oranges that signify prosperity and good fortunes.

There was also unequivocal words of appreciation for the convenience brought about by the latest Lift Upgrading Program. Residents would also be very pleasantly surprised that many of their neighbours came from a wide array of interesting places such as Johor Bahru, Penang, Indonesia, Shenzhen, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min city, Taiwan, Hong Kong and not forgetting the Philippines!
