The Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC CCC Bursary Presentation Ceremony was held on Sunday, 17 January 2010 at Raffles Institution.
This year, a total of 619 students from primary to tertiary levels will be benefiting from the Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC CCCs’ Bursary Awards totalling about $127,000.
During the award ceremony, the recipients took group photographs with the Members of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, led by DPM Wong Kan Seng, Minister Dr. Ng Eng Hen, Mayor Zainudin Nordin, Mr Hri Kumar Nair and Mrs Josephine Teo.
After the group photo sessions, the students and their families had the opportunity to spend the Sunday morning enjoying themselves at the games stalls and interacting with fellow residents at the carnival.
